Surgery postponed

I saw Dr. Chen on the 21st. He could not get a good ultra-sound of my heart He wants to schedule an angiogram. I then saw Dr. Stevens. I have gained 50 lbs since May. Now, I have to lose 50 lbs. before January 28 to be able to have the angiogram and have a vena cava inserted prior to surgery. Tis a bummer on my end. LOL

Angelas, Keep your eye on the prize and use every resource to accomplish your goal. I have recently been under the care of Dr. Chen and Dr. Stevens. Ask for help from Jan the Nutricianist in Dr Steven's group. It looks like a daunting task, but with help you can do it. Thelma
