Wow!!!
Good Morning All!
Boy, is this ever a great morning! As of this AM I have lost 100 pounds!!! There is no way I can describe how wonderful I feel. I have never --- and I do mean NEVER --- lost 100 pounds before. Not at one time anyway and I think you all know what I mean by that. (The number of pounds would be startling if you added together all the weight I've lost and gained back, plus more, on all my different diets.)
It sounds like you all had a great time in Houston. I was hoping to see everyone at the December OHLA meeting but I won't be able to be there due to my second cataract surgery. Here's hoping for January!
Take care,
Linda

Hi Rhonda,
Your time has come! You are on the road so get ready for a great trip! It's even better than I ever imagined. You're right. It is even better than a Tiger game! But, I have seen a few of them that came pretty close. I love football and the LSU Tigers and OU Sooners (born and raised in Oklahoma but we have lived in Louisiana for over 34 years) are my faves!
Take care,
Linda
Linda, don't lose heart! I'll save you some samples... We are going to do a "Ladies Spa Weekend" with dancing in the French Quarter... just need to pick a date!
Congrats on the incredible WOW!! I would be excited too! And yes, I didn't stand at convention on the parts about how much weight you've lost... because I assumed they meant post surgery, and all at once
BUT!! I got it on video... I have to find a way to post it!
Kat
Hi Kat,
Thanks for the congrats! I am thrilled with my WOW moment. I sure never thought back in March that I would be where I am by Thanksgiving.
This is going to be such a special holiday. I have so much to be thankful about. I am finally free of morbid obesity and all of the pain, fear and shame that went along with it for me. Life is so wonderful and I am finally enjoying it without constantly worrying about how little time I probably have left.
New Orleans sounds like fun!
Hugs,
Linda
Thanks Denise,
I know you will enjoy registering 100 pounds of weight loss, too. It is a great feeling. Since that is also your goal weight, it really will be a red letter day for you.
I've still got another 32 pounds to go before I reach my goal weight. (145) I'm only 2 pounds from my surgeon's goal for "successful" weight loss. At the time he gave me that goal, he said that wasn't the most he wanted me to lose. He said that I would be successful if I lost that much but he also said I could be a "star" and go beyond that point. Hey, why shouldn't I reach for the stars?!!!
Have a great day,
Linda
