Dr. Martin's NO patients .. BR question

Hey y'all! I have lurked on here from time to time, but this is my first post. It's a good group you have going. My and DH's doctor is Louis Martin from WMC/Touro in New Orleans. He's set up a temp practice in Baton Rouge, and I was wondering if any of his patients have been to Vista. I called and called and CALLED and no one can give me much information. Was wondering what an office visit would cost, etc. Any info would be helpful. Thanks! jeanie

Jeanie I have been there and had my surgery there with Klainer and Martin. They have not charged me anything for my visits so far. I'm sure it's because of them being displaced. Also the first few visit after surgery are included in the price of surgery so I haven't been charged for any of those either. But it should not be anymore than what they charged at Touro. They have worked out an agreement with the insurance company's to allow all procedures and things to be done there. Hope this helps some. Tina

I found myself nodding my head a lot, esp. over this line: "I picked a great doctor for my surgery but the staff there is not very organized and the hospital where all the test are done is much worse." You said a mouthful there. Isn't Dr. Martin a hoot? j
