PLSE READ,, BUMMED :(

I AM A RESIDENT OF METAIRIE,, AND AM NOW IN BATON ROUGE,, I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET IN TOUCH WITH DR. DANIEL SCOTT FOR WEEKS AND CAN'T FIND HIM AND NO ONE WILL ANSWER HIS LINES OR AT ANY HOSPITAL,, I KNOW ABOUT THE TULANE HOSPITAL AND HOW THEY ARE TEARING IT DOWN < I'M A PARAMEDIC , SO I GOT ALL THAT INFO> ,, BUT NOW I AM SO BUMMED , I WORKED A YEAR AND 7 MONTHS TO GET A DOCTOR WHO WOULD ACCEPT ME AND ONE WHO WAS CREDITABLE AND NOT JUST THE FIRST ONE I FOUND WHO TOOK MEDICAID. I AM SOOOO UPSET NOW,, I ALREADY HAVE SOO MUCH GOING ON WITH MY UNCLE JUST WAKING UP FROM A COMA , AND MY GRANDMA ON HER DEATH BED , BUT NOW I CAN'T GET MY SURGERY ,, I DONT FEEL I HAVE THE STRENGTH TO GO THROUGH THE 9-12 MONTHS IT TOOK ME OF PHONE CALL AFTER PHONE CALL FINDING A GOOD,DECENT,CARING DOCTOR ,, I FEEL I JUST WANT TO GO IN MY BED AND NEVER WAKE UP ,, OTHER THAN TO EAT!!!! ,, PLEASE HELP!!!

It will work out for you just keep your head up. I went through the same thing with my Doctor. I finally got in touch with someone through their website. Have you tried that? Then eventually the called me after I emailed them repeatedly. And they got set up at a hospital here in Baton Rouge and started seeing patients again. They have to work too so I'm sure they will set up somewhere to practice temporarily. Just don't give up it will work out for you. Tina

hi i have a friend that had surgery with dr. scott, i will call her now and see if she has got in touch with them. she had her surgery , but was having problems getting in touch with them.. i will do research and see what i can find out.

Hi there, read the post "Help Me Please", it is all about Dr. Scott and who his replacement is and the phone number to get through. Tulane downtown is NOT getting torn down, at least that is what they told me on Tuesday. Dr. Scott by the way is now practicing in Dallas at the University of Texas. His replacement takes Medicaid too. If you can't find that other post e-mail me and I will give you the information. Arlene

Hi I read on another post that Dr. James Korndoffer at the new Tulane-Lakeside campus is replaceing Dr Scott. I hope this helps.
