OHLA Members Please Post

I am currently trying to contact OHLA members and attempt our first "post Katrina" meeting. I know several have moved since I last contacted folks to make sure they were safe... I am open to holding this in the vicinity of Baton Rouge (give or take 10 miles) since it seems many of us are there or close. Any opinions? Where are you now? hi kat, was wondering where you were, glad you getting all ya'lls preop stuff done, who is going to take care of all three post ops ? just curious, I would like to come to the meeting where ever you have it, im back to working mostly weekends only now, hoping to have the surgery in 3 weeks, let us know what you decide, thanx

Ohla, Kat! I'm confused. I thought you had a surgery date this week. I prayed and was excited for you. I can, of course, repeat this later. I've always wanted to make the drive to Nola for OHLa. I would like to become active with this chapter. Let me know if I can help redo the materials you had printed before the storm. Also, if you are off this weekend, my little girl's birthday party is Saturday. Would love to send you a late, but earnest invitation by email. We are doing a family outing because my birthday is that day also. I have a spack walk and bowl of gumbo with your name on it if you can make it. Onward! Frances

Frances, I'm going to email you... I'm working Saturday (sadly) but I'd be thrilled to have you come for my son's birthday party on Oct 30. We will have skating for the kids, and laser tag for the bigger kids, and tons of fun. Hope you get a chance to come watch the little ones on wheels! Kat
