Preop testing complete!!

Well, as of this morning, all my preop testing is complete! I have just gotten home this morning from my sleep study... OMG they claim I slept... but truly with those wires sticking out of my nose, and metal hunks on the back of my head... and not being able to turn over for fear of pulling out 30+ wires... and a second tubing in my nose, a mic taped on my neck (and tape burns to show for it) ... I slept a grand total of 6 hrs... out of 8... I'm not so convinced, I figured I slept about 3-4 hrs. Anyway, MMPI is done, now I just have to wait for the sleep study and MMPI reports... and then we can submit for insurance~! Gall bladder has a VERY big stone (not yet causing pain, but eventually will, so probably that will come out too)... Xrays good, labs ok, so far so good, right? I can't stand it now... now is the waiting game... UGH Someone gonna keep me company so I don't go insane?

Just that much closer until they approve it. I had to go for my psych eval today. She told me I was a good candidate for the surgery. So now I just wait for my date.

Kat, I will keep you company....it is hard to not go insane through all this. I am glad things are finally working out for you. Keep your head up (as you have done) and things will work out. Take care, Jc

Kat, I'm so glad your pre-ops are done. That's a giant step forward! Now, I will wait, pray and keep you in my thoughts as you progress to the next step! I agree about the sleep study. Sleep? What sleep? I had to go back a second time to determine my setting because by the time I went to sleep and they could diagnose the sleep apnea, there wasn't enough time to do the settings. Take care!
