Still on track for surgery, despite Katrina

I wanted to pop in and say hello and let everyone know that ALL my testing/appointments/studies are scheduled for the 19th of this month!! I am still in progress of stabilizing my family. They are living in an RV next to my mom, and I am staying at a hotel nearby between shifts. Things have been rather hectic, my father (non-WLS), husband (non-WLS) and myself all to have surgery within the next 3-6 weeks. BUSY time... but I am thinking of you all and hoping that soon I can get internet access at home. Kat

Hi Kat, It's so good to hear from you. I'm glad everything is going well with your pre-op appointments. You, your father and husband will be in my thoughts and prayers. Please keep us informed - as is possible in your current situation. Take care. Linda

Hi Kat, So glad to hear you are on track and keeping your head above water. We should have another shipment of Unjury real soon. There's a new flavor called strawberry sorbet. What flavors do you like? Please also let me know where to send it. Call me if you need anything or you just need someone to run errands while you are recovering. Onward! Frances

Hello Ms. Kat! So glad to be back and talking with all my LA friends. Sorry that Katrina made such a mess. The wrath of Rita put things on hold for me, too but things are moving forward again. I was supposed to have surgery on October 21st but now it's been moved to October 31st. I'm so excited. Never thought I'd say that about major surgery. It's the best early Christmas Present I could ever get. (Just remind me of that when everyone starts making those homemade chocolates and yummy pies!) Let us know how all the surgeries go in your family. I'm praying for speedy recoveries for all of you! ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Peggy B.
