LOST EVERYTHING!!

WELL, I wasn't meaning Katrina, since I was able to salvage a few special items from my home there... but I meant my EMAILS~~!! I usually kept my emails in my "inbox" with numbers/names/addressbook etc... well we had to disconnect our New Orleans ISP to put one on in our new location... and now I can't get to my email box!!! SO for temporary time you can email me through here, I've set up my work email to receive these... but please note that I will not be using that email permanently for social things (obviously, it's meant for my boss to keep up with me) Problem is that until I get a bit more settled (maybe another couple weeks) I'm going to be very sparsely seen here until I am set up Kat

Kat, It is so good to hear from you. I look for your name everyday on the message board. I'm sorry to hear about your email. Sure hope you can get things set back up without too many problems. I'm glad things are going again in connection with your surgery. I worried about that for you. I hope the time will come when we (OHLA) can get together. Well, glad you are ok except the email. We had to flee Lake Charles, and are now in Meridian MS. We are hoping that they will get us back into our city sooner than they think that they can...... Nov 15. The wind and rain meters broke with the first wave of wind, but the weather channel kept putting up that we only had 86 mph winds.... LOL. We were in the high wind area NE of the eye........ but hoping that everything will be ok at home. From what we have heard about the time to get electricity back up, it must have dropped every tree in the town to the ground. What the heck, it will make it easier to grow roses......... lots of sunshine!! LOL Anyway, we got our cats out with us, and the 2 kids are with me..... so we are ok. The DH is locked in a refinery in Lake Charles trying to make and pump out gas for the rest of the country until further notice. He was told they would pay his salary for the "meantime"..... well, if they want to stop they can give him back.......... cause if he was here, we could head on up to Tenn. Later!

Yep, I'm in Denham Springs... at least officially... I am actually in New Orleans, cleaning, packing, working, struggling to organize something resembling normal.
