Thank you!

Just wanted to say thank you to all the people who are helping those in need. I have been volunteering at the local women's shelter, and they have received so many donations. The floor is not passable in much of the building now because of donations. Yesterday I sorted through ten boxes and two large garbage bags full of clothes for children. If there is anyone women in or around Baton Rouge you can go there and get whatever you need. They have food, diapers, clothes, formula, soap, deodorant, shampoo, shoes, you name it they have it. If anyone would like any info email me. Every thing is confidential there. And it is run by a ministry so the government is not involved and everyone there is a volunteer so they are doing it because they care, not because they have too. I too, want to thank everybody. I have read the posts from all over the United States and I am so very proud and happy with all the things that people are doing. Our church is housing evacuees in our gym. This morning we had a lot of people from New Orleans attending, my heart just broke for them. But you know they seemed so happy and cheerful. I wonder how I would cope if I were in there place. Tina, I too just want to say thank-you to everyone. JC

Jc Glad to here your church is housing evacuees. I think it's great that people can come together in times like these. And it is surprising how upbeat they are losing everything. But the lord doesn't give us more than we can handle. Good luck to you. Tina
