Pearl River, LA

Hi: First let me say my prayers are will all of you there. My questions is, does anyone know how much damage Pearl River, LA sustained. I believe it is about 30-35 miles off the ocean so I don't know if it wa**** real bad. We have friends down there and of course, there is no way to get a hold of them and we haven't heard from them or found them on any safe list. Any insight would be appreciated. God Bless You All! Last I heard it was very deep... One man I spoke to described water too deep to walk through, and many fatalities
