OT: Please help if you can

There are many displaced people in Shreveport from the New Orleans area in shelters that need everything. Many are having to sleep on hard floors. If you can donate money to the Red Cross of course they will help, or if you live close you can purchase items and take to any of the Red Cross shelters. Blow up mattresses, pillows, blankets, diapers, formula, baby food, wipies, shampoo, deodorant... you name it they need it. As you can imagine they are also bored. Games and videos would be a good idea. There are many children with nothing to do. They also need volunteers if you can donate your time. Also don't forget to pray, I can't begin to imagine what they must be going through emotionally. We as a state have lost so much... (as well as Mississippi) Thanks for anything any of you can do.
