Love to Louisiana!
My prayers are also going out to our neighbors here in Louisiana. I sit and watch the television way too much these days. I can't imagine what these people are going through. So many thousands of people have no food, no water, no money, no clothes, no vehicle, no books to read, no toys to play with...everything is gone. How do you start over again? Where do you go?
My heart bleeds. I told my husband last night, it is hard to believe that just four hours away there are towns torn apart in several states.
A couple of suggestions for those who can't donate money. You can make donations of blood, clothes, and food. You can also call your local red cross to find out more.

Where do you go? For the lucky ones... we turn to family... we pull together (10 people in a 2 bedroom trailer)... and we start over.... got a job today... time to get moving in the right direction... just staying busy until we can go see our homes... and pick up the few salvageable items we have left.
It will be longer and more difficult for those who do not have family close by that can help them get started. My heart aches for them.
RN Kat,
I'm so glad to see you are okay, I was just thinking of you and your family. I know words don't help much in the situation, but my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
And to ALL of the victims of this horrific tragedy in and around the Gulf Shores area please know we are sending our prayers.
