FRUSTRATED, STRESSED AND FED UP!

OK I HAVE PATIENTLY BEEN WAITING TO GET A RESULT WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANY ABOUT APPROVAL FOR MY SURGERY.... BUT I GUESS NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS.. THE PAPERWORK HAS BEEN SUBMITTED FOR ALMOST A MONTH NOW. I JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH THEM, AND IT IS STILLLLLLLL IN REVIEW. I AM BY NO MEANS GIVING UP... JUST GETTING VERY FRUSTRATED. I KNOW PATIENCE, I NEED LOTS OF IT... AND ALL THAT HAS HAPPENED IN THE LAST WEEK, IT IS HARD TO BE SO PATIENT, BUT I AM GIVING IT A GOOD EFFORT. TONIGHT WE START BOWLING FOR THE FALL LEAGUE, SO MAYBE ONCE I GET OUT OF THIS HOUSE I MIGHT BE IN A BETTER MOOD AND HAVE A LITTLE MORE PATIENCE. OK NOW THAT I HAVE VENTED, I NEED A NAP, I DID NOT SLEEP WELL LASTNIGHT. HUGS AND PRAYERS TO E1. GOD BLESS, LORI

I can understand... I am beginning to think there's someone "up there" who does not want me to get this surgery... it may be months before I can return to the physicians in my insurance network... not to mention that basically all the buildings they are in... are going to need years of remodelling.

I can feel ya on that. My doc was at Touro and I have already got approval from insurance I was suppose to get my date for surgery on the 29th at noon. Anyway I'm wondering if this is not a sign. And if it was it was a terrible one. I hoping my insurance company has a copy of my records so I can take them to another doctor. I'm glad you and your family is doing alright. If there is anything I can do to help just let me know I live right outside of Baton Rouge in Denham Springs. If you don't mind me asking what size clothes do you wear and your children I'm boxing up clothes to donate and might have something you can wear. Or your children. Please let me know. Tina

Hi Kat, I would like to talk to you if I can. We are trying to coordinate a special relief effort for bariatric patients (pre/post). The folks at OH are swinging into action and we may be able to help preops with doctors and facilities outside of New Orleans.
