Monroe La. for shelter

I just read where Monroe La has plenty of room at various shelters such as Monroe Civic Center right off HWY 165. And ULM at Monroe off hwy 165. This is for evacuees that need somewhere to go. People are steadily bringing in donations and food, clothing and bedding etc. to victims of the hurricane. I thought I might share this with some who might be in need. There are still many people stuck in N.O. I am sure it is only a matter of time before they are sent there. They currently are being sent as far away as San Antonio, and Dallas. If they haven't been sent to you, it is only because someone assumed that people getting out on their own, have already filled your area to capacity.
