OK SO GOING TO TAKE A PULMONARY FUNCTION STUDY IS NOT FUN WHEN YOU HAVE A BAD COLD AND IT IS 103 OUTSIDE. I HAD TO PARK ACROSS THE STREET, I BET IT WAS A GOOD 1/2 MILE WALK JUST TO GET TO THE ADMITTING OFFICE. THEN GOT THERE, COUGH MY HEAD OFF, I KNOW THEY THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO COUGH UP A LUNG. THEN THEY TAKE ME UP TO THE RESPIRATORY THERAPY TO HAVE THE STUDY DONE... SAT THERE FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES. THE LADY WAS VERY NICE, SHE CONDUCTED THE TEST, I FELT LIKE I WAS GOING TO PASS OUT AT LEAST 4 TIMES... SHE KEPT SAYING BLOW BLOW BLOW... I WAS SAYING IN MY MIND, IMMA BLOW RIGHT ONTO THE FLOOR. SHE SAID I DID GOOD ON THE STUDY... SO NOW WE WILL SEE WHERE I AM WITH SSI DISABILITY. WHEN WE WERE FINISHED, SHE COULD TELL THAT I WAS VERY EXAUSTED AND SHE WAS NICE ENOUGH TO GET SOMEONE TO WHEEL ME OUT TO MY CAR. I THOUGHT THAT EXTRA TOUCH WAS AWESOME! HOPE EVERYONE HAS HAD A GOOD DAY TODAY. I AM WIPED OUT NOW. GOD BLESS, LORI
