It's almost September!!!!!

WELL people, only 1 week!! Just 7 more days and I get to see my PCP and START!! WOW, I know I've been working on this since March... and I swear that in March I thought to myself that I would NEVER make it if I had to wait 6 months to start... Well!! It's been 6 months now... and I'm here, and the wait didn't kill me!! I'm amazed at the changes in myself, both personally and size wise. I am still wearing the same clothes, but only because they are drawstring pants, and knit shirts... and now they are literally falling down on me... and I have lost almost 30 lbs. I stopped losing for a while, the phentermine is just too expensive and I get downright hungry without it... but when I go to the doc on Sept 1st (next Thurs) I plan on asking the PCP to prescribe it for me. I am so excited to finally be getting started with my appointments!!

Kat, I know when you are waiting it seems like an eternity. I waited three years to have surgery so, I know how you feel. However, you are ALMOST there! YAYYYYYYYYYYYY Congrats on the weight loss. I wish you all the best in all of your endeavor's. You will be a SUCCESS! Gina

Yep I'm right there with you. We started working on our insurance in July of 2003. I had given up feeling it would never happen. Now we are getting new insurance as of the 1st and I've already been told by the Drs office they expect no problems!!! Good luck to you and me Kat Diane
