DENIED!!!

Yes, that is right I have been denied. Just talked with United Healthcare and was told it was denied but it could go before a peer to peer review. Of course it is 12:15 and the doctors office is at lunch. I have my appeal letter ready. I said it before and I'll say it again, this will be a fight but a fight for my life. Watch out here I come!!! Well, actually I have a headache and of course I have heartburn real bad right now so I am going to go lay down. Maybe even shed a tear or two. Take care to all, I just needed to tell someone. JC

JC, I am so sorry to hear about your denial. Big Hugs and prayer's are being sent your way. Fight with all your might. Whatever you do don't give up. I am willing to talk to you about your insurance troubles if you would like. I know how you feel, I fought for three years with three different insurance companies. I'm so sorry. I was so hoping it would go your way. Have you tried talking to the company your husband works for. The could have it changed in their policy so that it covers it. If the company has more that fifty employees. If not then UHC doesn't offer it for less than fifty. I hope you get the answer your looking for at the review. Since I found out I have a call into the doctors office. The other day when I talked with them they said I had a great appeal if denied. The person at the insurance company said I needed to get the doctor to do a peer to peer review before filing an appeal. Hope that means something. After talking with the doctors office I plan to go to the person that handles the problems with UHC, she is like the liason. I will keep myself up. Others go through this and survive and so will I. HEY SWEETIE, SO SORRY TO HEAR THAT THEY DENIED YOU, BUT THAT JUST MEANS THAT IT WASN'T MEANT TO BE AT THIS TIME... YOU GO AND FIGHT THAT INSURANCE COMPANY AND MAKE THEM LET YOU HAVE THIS SURGERY. You go get em and explain everything that they don't seem to understand. Wipe the tears and pull up them purdy shoulders. It's time for your insurance company to understand, they may have won this first round but you're gonna' knock the air out of their sails and they're not gonna' be able to find a single come back to deny you with this time!
