I AM HOME AND DOING OK

Hello all, Well here is my story. I had srugery on the 16th. I got to the hospital at 6:30am my surgery was for 8:30. They putme in a pre op room in out pt surgery. I was hooked up to my IV about 35-40 min later. Well I noticed it was 8:15 and I told my hubby(Brian) that they should come get me any min but they didn't. It was about 9:30 when they came to get me. Dr Lavin was not to happy that was not back there at 8:30. Anyway. Dr Lavin said he had me in and out of surgery in about a hour and the surgery itself was very smooth and textbook. He said I did really good. I made to my room about 12:45-1:00pm. I had a bad night that night, I had major gas pains and I almost from the liquid Lora tab, but my nures came running in and we fixed it. Wednesday morning I got up my mon helped me take a shower and I walked around. I felt alot better. Then I had a major headache from the Demerol tabs. But I stopped takeing that and took liquid Tynoel it was working. Dr Lavin came in on Wednesday afternoon and told me I could have all the broth, jello , and pop cicles I wanted. He told me he was sending me home in the morning. So I came home thursday and I have been doing really well since. While I was in the hospital KElli Jo my angel came to see me both days. and I got to meet Vickie K too. I was greatfull for Kelli. She helped me in the hospital I was wrapped all up and she helped me get rid of the covers I did not need. She has been there for me when ever I neeed her. Well I better quit while I am ahead and I write a book hahaha.. Take care I will keep everyone posted... Love ya, Chrissy

Awwwww, thanks Chrissy!!! Yea, could you tell I was worried about you the first night. But I am soooo happy you are doing so well. Nway, for real, I am going to Crossgates now, or I won't make it and will be upset w/ myself. If I can, I'll probably call ya on the way to the wedding, and then I'll see ya tomorrow!
