anyone know the lady who died this week?

There is only one group of doctors that do gastric bypass at Methodist and it is the O'connell, Mando, etc group. A friend of mine had hers with that group and I am glad that I did not go to that group. I also read about this group on a yahoo support group. I have not heard very good things about them except that Anne Rice used them. Lynn J., lap RNY 9/29/04

I don't the lady, and I am sorry that she died from complications. My own mother died from complications from diabetes, and if this surgery had been available back then, she may have still been around now. So sometimes something gets you no matter what way you go. You can never tell.
