anyone know the lady who died this week?

She had a gastric bypass done and died from complications. My mom called me upset. Her last name was Lindholm. I'm so sad about this.

I haven't heard of anyone dying.Was she a member of OH? I've been kinda hit and miss on the boards this week.Did you post this to the main board?Someone there might know.

Her death notice is in the Times Picayune today. It says she died from gastric bypass surgery complications. My mom made me sad and my husband reminded me that some people don't follow the follow-up instructions and sometimes it happens. I hadn't posted it on the main board and I didn't find her name anywhere here. I was just curious if maybe someone on here had heard it. She died at Methodist.

Methodist is where Dr. O'Connell does his surgery I almost used him too. I dunno the person who passed away, but I am sorry to hear of it. I had not seen the obituary.

I read her guestbook. Someone posted about knowing she didn't look forward to the needle sticks or ivs. I'm wondering if maybe she had suffered some sort of down the road postop complications. I really am sad for her and her family.

Did doctor o'connell do the surgery?

I don't know if she was one of his or not... I do know he does his surgeries at that hospital, but I think he's not the only doctor who does them there.

I'm not sure who didthe surgery. I know Mando, O'Connell and 2 others associated with Renew use it. I also heard Lavin uses it.
