POLL: OHLA! Coming to YOU??!!??

OHLA! could be coming to a city near YOU!! Our members are discussing the idea of a small "road trip" to the northern part of the state for one of our upcoming meetings... We'd like to know if there's anyone that is willing to help us coordinate a place to meet up there! You would not need to organize anything except maybe a space to fit 25 or so people (yeah, I have high hopes for our road trip!)... The rest of the support group agenda will already be taken care of... what we'll need will be a space, possibly one that allows us to bring drinks and maybe some light healthy snacks. Kat

Oh Kat that would be wonderful!!I would love the opportunity to meet some of my fellow OH members from down south.I don't know right now about a meeting place.HMMMmmmm--I wonder about the maybe the Civic center in Minden.Don't know what they charge for space.....

Ki Kat. I have a bariatric center here that will hold plenty of people. I know that our locals would be thrilled to meet some of our southern neighbors. We are in Shreveport and aside from being the program coordinator for CHRISTUS Schumpert, I am also the OH local chapter support group leader. Oh, wow, I didn't know there was a north Louisiana OH chapter, I wouldn't have used the OHLA name if I had known... didn't see it on the Chapter Leader section I thought we were the only Louisiana chapter... Our chapter is still working on it's official status. But it shouldn't be long before we are official I was thinking that maybe our October 8 date (we meet second Sat of each month) would be a good date... and maybe 10 from each group would be there (thus my hope for space for 25). I was estimating the number from your group, wasn't sure what to expect, since no one posted about a specific group up there.
