Called insurance yesterday...

They said yes they have received my info and it is being processed. I asked her how long will it take and she said the standard time is thirty days. But they say that about everything. So I will harass them about every three days until I get my answer. So everyone wish me luck. Hopefully I will hear something this week or next at the latest.

Tina, I hope things go faster for you than 30 days. Do you have all your test done? I had DS surgery on May 2nd & have done really well. I still have a lot of head hunger & am having a hard time getting past that. Hopefully you will be able to get past all that fast. Good Lucl to you. Donna Butler

Thanks Donna, I hope it goes faster than that too. Yes I have all my test done. I had them all done in one day, yes it was horrid, but I got them all out of the way. I've been on the liquid diet for two weeks now and I'm doing fine with that. I don't really have head hunger I just love food and miss it. I'm drinking unjury with milk for protein and it really keeps me full. So hopefully I will hear something soon and get a date. Thanks again Donna. Tina

I CALLED MINE TODAY AND THEY RECEIVED IT, AND ARE IN THE PROCESS OF PROCESSING IT, I ASKED HOW LONG DOES IT "NORMALLY" TAKE AND WAS TOLD THAT IT CAN TAKE UP TO 60 DAYS BUT USUALLY LESS THAN THAT.... SO I AM PRAYING FOR YOU HUN THAT YOU GET YOUR APPROVAL VERY SOON. GOD BLESS, LORI

Tina, I hope you won't have to wait 30 days either. My insurance copmany told me 30 days too but I got my approval in 3 weeks. I'll say a prayer you get your approval soon... Take care, Chrissy

tina I am so glad things are going ahead for you, I pray for a speedy response too but if it does take 30 days as long as it is approved and you can get surgery done. I am in same boat except my doc is sending off to insurance hopefully this week. Good luck Denise

Hey Tina, It sounds like there are a lot of us in the same boat...My insurance company received my information on the 26th of July. They said they have 30 days to respond. Called again Monday it is still in progress. In progress for what it seems simple yes or no....does it sound like I am a bit anxious. Good luck, JC
