Update and Reality Check from Frances

Howdy, My Bayou Buddies, It's been a week of appointments and mild frustrations. I have a 1/2 cc fill and I've had my new GYN doc tell me he didn't think he was the person to remove my ovary incase he encountered some of the complications I've had during surgeries in the past. The ultrasound yesterday showed a dramatic reduction in the size of the ovarian mass. I have several fibroid tumors, but the tech said they were small in size. My one-year banderversary is this month, so I thought it was time for a Reality Check on the blog and an assessment of direction for my weight loss efforts. On another note, some other local wls members and I are planning an entire weekend of fun and activities for the Louisiana Walk From Obesity. The Walk's Sept. 24 and there's a link to a flyer on my blog. I hope to post a full list of happenings for that weekend soon and I'm also working on a group rate for those folks wanting to spend a night or two in Baton Rouge. Join me for "Reality Check: What I Can and Can't Change" on my blog. Please click the "www." button below this post for the blog. Onward! Frances
