Hi all, has anyone tried this new 3 oz. protein drink that they say has 25 grams of protein in just one vial? I just ordered it and it is a little pricey, but I have such trouble making myself get in my protein requirements. It is not that I don't like the taste or anything, its just that I would rather not take it. I figure that 3 oz. won't be that much of a deal. See, I don't like the taste of milk and it seems that all of the protein drinks, whether soy or whey have a little bit of a milky aftertaste. Like I say, I could handle it, but I would rather not. So, I figured that if I could deal with 3 oz. twice a day and then get the rest of my 80 grams of protein from the food that I eat. I am having trouble getting all the protein in because I just don't want to have that milky taste. And don't tell me to try isopure, no it doesn't have a milky taste to me, it tastes like soap. Sorry, just as bad. But I have come this far, so I will keep plugging along. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. I have been using EAS procession protein, the fruit punch flavor and mixing it with sugar free hawaiann punch and that is not nearly as bad as some, but I am just looking for the easy way to get in the amount of protein I need. And please don't lecture me and tell me that the easy way out is the way I got were I was, I KNOW, BUT I STILL HAVE TO DEAL WITH MYSELF, and I am truly trying. Debbie

I haven't tried it yet. But I plan to, for the same reasons you have mentioned above. Good Luck, and let me know how it turns out. Kat hoping to have surgery in October 335/308/goal 135

I actually tried all the flavors of this and even brought the information to our support meeting on August 3. I like it especially for "breakfast" since I am NOT A BREAKFAST person and the thought of drinking "Anything Milky" early in the morning... well GAG! This is about 2.7 ounces of liquid in a tube and the only flavor I didn't care for (not a raspberry swirl fan). At 100 calories and 25 grm of protein... well it is DEFINITELY a headstart on our 70-80 grms of protein A DAY!

I am 2 years PostOp (May 9, 2003), and I've lost 246 lbs from 355 lbs. in 2 years! The Stallone pudding is good for something really sweet when you have the time to sit and "savor each thick, rich bite". I just wi**** came in other flavors other than Chocolate like Strawberry and/or Banana.
