WalkAmerica and Walk From Obesity

Hello, My Bayou Buddies, I've updated my blog with a big thanks to all the folks who participated in WalkAmerica and I inlcuded a link to a longer article about the NooMeee support group and our activities (and pictures of me and my family). The NooMee Walk Page includes links and information about the upcoming Walk From Obesity which will be held in downtown Baton Rouge on Sept. 24. The Walk From Obesity will include both a 1-mile walk and a 5K (3.3 miles) walk, so there's something for everyone. If you follow the link to the walk page you can get a registration form and a number to contact the organizers. If any of you need any help getting here, or you want me to mail you a registration form, just give me a hollar. I can also help with overnight accommodations and places of interest to visit in Baton Rouge if you plan to stay overnight. My "www" button leads you to my blog.
