Hit Kat, Just busy with the kids as usual. Had a great weigh in today. I reached my surgeon's goal weight of 110. I have my one year appointment with him on Wednesday. I hope the weigh maintains so that I can "officially" weigh in and have met his goal in one year. We will probably be discussing my incisional hernia and what will be done for that, too. My labs are great and am just dealing with a minor loose stool issues that are probably more related to my ulcers and some recent stress situations (damn that IBS) than it is to haing WLS. Dr. started me on a new med, Colestid, which is a cholesterol lowering med but is being use for an "off-use" purpose. Only been on it about a week but there is some improvement. We'll see how it goes. Congrats on your recent wieght loss. I know you will get to have the surgery if you just keep your sights set on that goal. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help you or answer any questions, or if you just want to talk. I like the idea of a set date each month. Easier to plan for that way. Rhonda

Hi Kat, I keep checking this board hoping some activity will get started. I have been lurking for a while and posted occasionally on the over 50 board and Main board. Our weekend was good. We went to see Joan Rivers here in town at our civic center. also went to summer pops program at civic center. Our weekends are usually centered around our greatgrand son, who spends at least part of each weekend here. He is currently on vacation in Canada with our dgt. so we had a little grown up fun!! I am working on the required weight loss. My surgeon wants 20 lb loss before scheduling surgery. I have managed 10 of it so far. I don't know how long it is going to take. I just keep plugging away one day at a time. Do you work nights all of the time?? Regards, Thelma
