A preop WOW moment!!

WELL, I didn't expect any "wow" moments as a preop... completely figured that was for *after* surgery.... I have been diligently pushing myself (despite low energy levels) to go out and be active with my kids... So yesterday, we went to the waterpark again (yep, same one as before - got season passes so couldn't waste em)... And my son begs me (as he does every trip) to go on a waterslide with him... of course it's the tallest one, a climb of 10 flights of stairs!! I've been refusing him again and again so yesterday I just HAD to go with him... I was feeling good, having just weighed in yesterday morning with a LOSS of 27 lbs so far!! I climbed 2 flights and took a break, then did it again... lather rinse repeat... finally I made it to the top and I got to ride with my son!!!! I realized it wasn't too bad, and I did it again!! I was able to ride a waterslide for the first time in more than 15 years!!! I'm sooo happy!! I can't really SEE a loss on myself, but I feel so much better!
