I have a question about spport groups? I need an answer soon!

Anyone know of any support group in Lafayette area, I hate to travel all the way to Baton Rouge, I need to go to a support group? Any suggestions? It is mandatory? I need to go to one by Monday.

Hi Tama. My doctor, Dr. Keith Chung, in Lake Charles holds a support group every 2nd Thursday of the month. He holds them himself and always gives some topic of life after bariatric surgery. It's nice because he keeps us informed of what's new and happening and what to look forward to. He also gives us time to discuss what's working for us and to share that with others. We learn alot. Our next group is tomorrow night at 6pm at Women and Children's hospital. I'm sure they wouldn't mind if you attend, but if you want to be sure, call his Coordinator, Marcie, at 337-433-1303. Hi Tama, I have been going to Dr. Broussard in Opelousas. Our support group meetings are on the first wednesday of every month @6pm.. It is at the Opelousas General Hospital. I don't know if this helps you or not; but at least it would be closer for you to drive. Goodluck, Krystal

This is great..cause he is the new surgeon I just switched to...........I had to have two required support group I just finished my second one. Thanks!
