Neweigh Keeps informing that my insurance is not accepted any longer at Riverwest Medical Center.... I need to be well be completed with surgery and well by the beginning of august!!
also I have Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal (My insurance is accepted at like 9 out of 10 hospitals--it is a very good insurance company I just don't understand)......My Dr. Is Dr. Hargrooder...I called his office to and I keeo getting answering services....
HELP!!!
Can maybe the person you spoke with at the hospital call your surgeon's office and confirm that your insurance is indeed accepted at the hospital? Just a thought.Hope you can get this little snafu worked out.Or maybe the person at Neweigh could call and speak with the head manager that only deals with BCBS to confirm this.Seems so simple to solve with a little cooperation from the people at Neweigh, however nothing in this journey is as simple as it seems.Good luck to you.

It sounds as if someone has their wires crossed, Tama. Did you speak with Neweigh after you spoke with both the hospital and your insurance company? If so, then they should be giving the hospital and/or your insurance company a call. If they keep stalling you, for whatever reason, maybe you can get the case manager that deals with BC/BS at Riverwest to give them a call. Let the case manager know that you want to give them your business but that Neweigh must have been misinformed at some time or another about their acceptance of BC/BS insurance. As much money as this surgery will bring to their hospital I am sure that they will jump on the case.
Is your surgeon possibly out on vacation? I know that a lot of doctors are taking vacation right now.
Hope I helped you some. Take care and hopefully things will start going a lot smoother for you.
