need help getting started

who do i need to talk to first what are the steps to take first were do i go from here .And does medicade help pay and what are thier requirments.can anyone help me so many questions to ask thank all that respond.

Roshell, If you have Medicaid I think you need a referral from your medical doctor first. So, you need to speak with him/her and ask him/her to refer you to a surgeon for the procedure. I don't know what Medicaid requirements are...most insurances require that your BMI is 35 or greater with co-morbidities or 40+ with no co-morbidities. Plus documentation of weight loss attempts in the past. Hope I helped you a little.
