WELL it seems the full moon is attacking my planning ability!! The restaraunt that USED TO serve the crawfish, has stopped now. They said they may resume next crawfish season... SO I would still like to meet but I wanted to get a quick consensus... would you guys rather continue with the lunch plans, postpone till the weekend, or just meet at my house again?? I still want to do this, but I want to make it something everyone wants to do too Originally I had planned to meet What: OHNO Luncheon When: June 29 at 12 noon Where: Quarter View Restaraunt (Clearview Parkway) Contact Info: Kat (email for number/directions) I would also like to have everyone who is even considering coming to any OHNO event, to post ideas of what s/he'd like to see at OHNO... topics for speakers? Themes for events? Settings for events? Toss out some ideas folks. I have a few ideas but I want to bring in the things you guys want to do too!

Hi Kat I'd really like to meet with everyone again. The crawfish boil at your house was so laid back and fun. I could probably do something on a weekend, but trying to schedule time off work during the week is the pits. For the next few weeks I'll be in physical therapy for my shoulder and really can't take any more time off work than for that. I think a weekend lunch would be nice, preferably at a not too expensive restaurant. Maybe after the summer heat we could plan a picnic at a park, a bring your own everything type outing. Something just to keep in touch with everyone. Do you have the e-mail list of those who attended your crawfish boil? I'd like a copy if you would be so kind. Debbie

Perhaps, future topics could be: Protein(of course), goal setting, dealing with emotional issues of weight loss, family issues and WOW moments. I look forward to meeting all of you soon. Paulette

Kat, Looks like I will be out of town until after the 4th. I have to make the dreaded trip to Atlanta to bring the kids to see their father. It's been two years since he's seen the twins (he saw the older two at Christmas). Since he doesn't have a clue how to interact with Seth and doesn't understand his autism, I will have to stick around Atlanta should things not work out. BTW, I will be doing a presentation at my surgeon's support group at the end of July. The topic has to do with my recent trip(s) to the ER. I don't know if we have an official title for my presentation but I think it will be along the lines of "Anticipating the Unexpected--Whatever WLS Patient Should Know In Case of a Medical Emergency." I would be glad to do this at one of our OHNO get-togethers if you think anyone would want to hear it. I really feel it is a very important topic for pre- and post-op WLS patients. Just let me know. Sorry I will miss the luncheon. Rhonda

Hi Kat and OH friends, I am still up for the luncheon the 29th, or on a weekend or whatever everyone wants. In other words I am very fexible--haha! I think the luncheon would be less fuss on everyone. One topic I would be very interested in hearing is about plastic surgery. Maybe at the luncheon we can discuss some future outings and things to do together. Have a great day, yall! Susan

I actually like that idea... maybe we should use this "meeting" as a planning step And I LOVE the ideas so far... keep `em coming!

Just checking on the progress of the luncheon Wednesday. Is it still a go or has it been changed or cancelled. Susan
