Yes, that should count as a supervised diet.... All I had was one month a a weight loss doctor and he prescribed me pills, and i never went back to im after ha one month and I got approved. If you email me I can send you a copy of my complete diet history. Good Luck ---anything that is documented....is a huge help and ++++, especially a diet!

Teesha, Going by my own experience with my insurance company the requirements are...a documented discussion with a physician about type of diet, success on the diet and exercise plan for 6 months--has to be within the last year. You have to have weights and dates for each visit documented also. I have to supply the above documentation to the insurance company when completed. They are very clear on whether I have to see the doctor weekly, biweekly or just monthly...but I am seeing my doctor monthly. I don't know what the Aspen Clinic is like...do you speak with a doctor each time you go there? T--resa

Yes, I had lost weight. But they, just like other places, won't guarantee the weight loss unless you purchase and use their protein bars. And that can get quite a bit expensive. But they recommend you go 3 times per week. You weigh in and meet with a counselor who also takes your blood pressure. Discuss how you are doing and they answer any questions you may have.
