Its so hard to believe the scale and the mirror! Its coming off and its starting to show! The first week post-op was hard, I'm tough and it was so hard, but this...The weight coming off like this is so awesome. Those of you who've been there know and those who are new here need to know; it WILL happen for you! I kept thinking I'd be one of those unexplainable exceptions that couldn't loose. But no, I'm very NORMAL! I absolutely LOVE my scale right now. I'm averaging 2.2lbs per day. Its showing in my face, neck and chest. My shorts that I had to suck in a deep breath to zip slid right on, no problem! I'm hoping to start back exercising again next week. I'm also looking for some good "mushy food" recipies for my next stage. I'm so happy I'm gonna turn on the sterio and dance to my housework today! HUGGS HUGGS HUGGS!!!!!!

OH wow... Tambra thank you for the encouragement... It seems so impossible that I will ever get there.... but I keep hoping... right now I'm in limbo (yet again) and won't know for a bit longer if I'm changing to a better insurance, or if I have to "suck it up" and put in the 6 mo "physician supervised weight loss program" bit. And yes, I just know I'm going to be one who doesn't lose according to expected "norms"

Congrats! I can't wait until I get there. I went to a support meeting last night and met some people who were going to have their surgery within the next few weeks...oh, boy was I jealous . No really, I was happy for them and I can just imagine how happy they are going to be when they get to where you are now. Pull those shoulders back and walk with PRIDE, girl! Show off that new self of yours! T--resa
