Me - Home from surgery, blessed

Hello My Bayou Buddies, Hello My Banded Buddies, I've completed my fifth surgery since being banded 9 months ago. I'm home after spending the night in the hospital. The hernia was larger than my doctor expected, but he was able to patch it just fine and I don't think I'm having any complications to the surgery. You all have touched me so much and the support and prayers are truly priceless to my recovery. I'm going to take it easy today and come out swinging later. Onward! Frances

Frances, I am so glad that your surgery went well. Make sure you do take it easy for the first few days...you need to conserve your energy for healing. Now that doesn't mean stay in the bed all the time Move those legs to ensure you don't get any blood clots. I will continue keeping you in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery.
