I had gastric bypass surgery in March of 1998. I was 208 lbs. (5 feet tall) and by May of 1999, I was about 115 to 120. I didn't have to diet the first few years - it was easy. The last couple of years have been very, very hard. I can now eat anything I want - nothing makes me sick anymore. I am up to 143 and scared to death - none of my size 4's fit anymore and I feel absolutely horrible. I'm doing diet pills again and on this yo-yo diet thing. Please tell me what to do. I spent over $15,000 and found a new life and I'm very, very scared to lose it. Please tell me what to do.

Hi Donna. Do you have a support group in that area? I have no idea where Scott is, but you have a little "network" around there. Many ideas are generated at the support group to help new patients and post-op patients who need a "kick start". If there is nothing in that area, call Dr. Jones' office and speak to Sue. She may be able to offer some suggestions. Plenty of water and exercise seem to help me.

Bless your heart!! I know how scared I would be if I were you!! Call Dr. Jones' office asap and see what they have to say. Maybe they have a counselour on staff or one that they can recommend to you. You've come too far to go back now!!! I will be praying for you!! HUGS, Pam
