Info On Louisiana Doctor plezzzz!!

Can anyone tell me about a doctor in shreveport named shamblin My aunt said he did her bypass but i dont see him listed here do i have his name wrong? please any info is appreciated I would like to get my surgery done here if i could get ins to pay if not then it is off to MX for me on the 11th. off to MX? do you mean MS? My doctor is in New Orleans... great record, over 3000 RNY done, with not one death (amazing!) He's been doing them for more than 20 yrs, and his name is Dr. Roury O'Connell.

Ramona, Dr Shamblin performed my stomach stapling at Doctor's Hospital about 8 years ago. His office was there also. At the time he was the Dr. to go to. He used to run infomercials on tv all the time. Very professional, but lacking a little bit in the personality dept. I lost about 70 lbs and gained it back within 2 years. Dr. Black was the surgeon that did my rny in Oct/04. He is a wonderful, sweet, sensitive, professional with a great staff. His office is in Shreveport next to Schumpert Hospital. My doctor was in Shreveport and he was Dr. Kenneth Jones. I drove 3 1/2 hours from Lafayette to see him because at the time (1998) there were not many other doctors doing the procedure. HE IS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
