Hi Freddy, Hey, buddy, sorry to hear about your wall. A real plateau is going one month with out losing any weight or inches. You may not be plateau-stuck if the inches are shifting things around. Also, if you are walking, you could be building muscle. I know a friend who's studying a plateau-busting diet and I could email her and ask her to send you an email. She's on OH.com and her name is Su Wren. I hope it's a temporary glitch and you will be posing for Playgirl before you know it! Onward! Frances

Freddy, I am still pre-op so no experience with post-op plateaus...but I can offer this... You went thirteen months without having a plateau??? All I can say is WOW! Just keep up with whatever you have been doing up to this point and it will work itself out in the end. Having been on endless diets in the past, I can say that a plateau is a way of your body responding to the weight you have lost so far...keep up the good work and your body will begin again rewarding you with inches and fat loss. Also, are you exercising? It does a body good, so I have been told. T--resa
