Suck It Up For The Cake!

Kids, and spouses, say the darnest things. I've decided to dedicate a blog entry to the sayings floating around my house and how they relate to my weight loss journey. For those keeping records, I'm seven and a half months into my weight-loss journey. In August of 2004, I had lap band surgery. I'm about 75 pounds down since that time and I would be living it up if not for an unrelated, pesky hernia problem. I think my wound will be drained again on Monday morning. I hope you can join me at my blog for "Suck It Up For The Cake." Onward! Frances Latest entry: (http://) francesspencer.blogspot.com

ok ok better late then never?? I just finally read your latest entry.... actually read the last two, was up to date before that... lemme tell ya girl, we have LOTS more in common than you know... I too had 2 miscarriages before my son was born, and one more before my daughter was born.... I can completely understand the concept "at all costs" and I can't wait to celebrate our little miracles together and give you a BIG HUG... And you're right... when it came to this surgery I realized it was time for me to "Suck it up for the ______" in my case the word was family... my family needs me, and I need this surgery to be there for them

Life is so wonderful and funny, everytime I see your name here, I think of my sister. She's a registered nurse and her name is Kathy. I've always felt that there was a kindred spirit between us and now I know the full truth of it. Aren't miracles sweet. Well, mine is sweet and defiant and messy, but she's so wonderful to have in my life. Yup, we are indeed ready to "Suck it up for the FAMILY!" Onward, Frances
