Thursday's Sunshine

It's working, it's working!! We're waking up the Louisiana board!! YAAAAY So back to the theme.... What did you do with the beautiful sunshine we had today? I swept my patio and had a cup of coffee on my brand new deck... maybe I'll go take some pictures of it so I can share them....

HEY GIRLFRIEND.......YES IT IS FINALLY WORKING.....WE NEED TO GET THIS BOARD MORE ACTIVE, I HAD TO MOVE TO THE TEXAS BOARD A LONG TIME AGO BECAUSE I COULD NOT GET THIS BOARD MOVING...I AM SO GRATEFUL YOU ARE HERE TO GET IT MOVING..... SO WHAT DID I DO YESTERDAY? SPENT THE DAY WITH MY DAD! HE HAD A BAD SPELL YESTERDAY BUT HE WAS BETTER WHEN I GOT THERE WITH SOME FOOD FOR HIM! HE IS STILL SO WEAK, AND SOMETIMES FORGETS THINGS, BUT HE DID REMEMBER IT WAS HIS WEDDING ANN. OF 27 YEARS TO MY STEP MOM. THE NURSE BOUGHT HIM A CARD TO SIGN TO GIVE TO HER. I HAD TO HOLD HIM UP IN THE BED SO HE COULD EAT, I WAS GETTING READY TO CRY BECAUSE HE KEPT FALLING BACK.......BUT I WAITED TILL I GOT TO THE TRUCK AND THEN HAD A GOOD CRY, I WANTED SO BAD TO TAKE HIM OUTSIDE, BUT HE WAS JUST TOO WEAK. HE DID EAT A LITTLE FOR ME, BUT HE IS EATING. THEN I SPENT THE DAY WITH MY HUBBY JUST RUNNING ERANDS, AND THEN GOING TO WALMART! I CANT WAIT TILL THE DINNER!!!!!!! WOO HOO....WHAT A GREAT TIME WE ARE GONNA HAVE! TAKE CARE ALL AND HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!!! I HAVE TO COMPETE IN THE SINGING CONTEST SUNDAY, SO ALL YOU CAJUNS KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED FOR ME.....I AM GOING FOR $500. I WILL KEEP YOU ALL POSTED........ I LOVE YOU ALL! MUCH LOVE AND HUGS TO ALL...... KIM PLEASE CONTINUE TO KEEP MY DAD IN YOUR PRAYERS AS WELL AS ME AND MY FAMILY.......THANK YOU ALL!

DOH!! I was thinking today was thursday LOL

I'm glad to see the board moving again. A few months ago I posted a "SEX AND CHOCOLATE CAKE" entry in an effort to drum up some interest. Well, I'm happy to see the perking up and I will keep my recipe for sexy chocolate cake under cover. I went to a team captain's meeting for the upcoming WalkAmerica. My support group NooMee will be walking at the Baton Rouge event this year. It was near a park and baby, daddy and I played for a little while and watched the national wheelchair tennis competition. Watching those many active people who couldn't walk or run did a real number on whatever self-pity I might have left in me. Time to kick it up a notch! We then let my little girl get filthy dirty at the park -- swinging, sliding, laughing and slinging sand. I'm a little depressed these days, but I know there's little out there that bright sun and a baby's laughter can't cure. Oh, look, that's Thursday's Sunshine! Well, I'll start Friday's Sunshine.
