Dr. Louis Martrin New Orleans

Has anyone used Dr.Martin? Could you tell me a little about him and if he takes self pay paitents? Any help would be greatly appreciated..Thanks Teesha

Dr. Martin is the doctor who did my surgery (9-29-04). He is a WONDERFUL surgeon and a very nice man!! I have no idea if he takes payments or not, but you can call his office at Touro Weight Management Center in New Orleans. Ask for Fay and she can tell you whatever you need to know!! I highly recommend Dr. Martin and the whole group there. They are a very nice group of people to deal with!!

Dr. Martin did my surgery on 9/27/05 and he has been great to me. I don't think that he takes payments, but I know that there are some companies that will finance your surgery. Fay is no longer with Dr. Martin, but Carly is the lady that answers the phone and they are all still so helpful there. I can't say enough about Dr. Martin. He put up with alot of me when I had my surgery, including getting up at 6:00 on a Sunday morning and meeting me at the emergency room, it was just me being paranoid, but he put up with it anyway. He has other surgeons and even an endocrenologist(sorry about the spelling) in his office. He has everything that you need to care for you pre surgery and post surgery. By the way, he had the lap band done himself. He is really a kind man and he knows his stuff. And I can't say enough about Dr. Raum. He is the internist/endocrenologist(?) and he is great too, let's not forget Carol and Yvette, the two nurses. They are outstanding. Good luck and call the office, the number is 504-897-SLIM. Debbie
