I was curious if anyone has any info about this company? I recieved a brochure and read that they use a micropouch gastric bypass procedure, that was developed by Dr. Wood and Dr. Sapala .From what I understand they divide the top part of the stomach to make a micropouch and reduce the capacity of the stomach.It is permanent but reversible.They connect the small intestine to a new pouch. Has anyone on this board had this procedure done?Any info will be greatly helpful.. Teesha

Hi Lateesha. I used to work for Liv-Lite in Shreveport and they are a reputable company. (They are based out of California) However I know nothing about the "micropouch" gastric bypass procedure. No Doctors here offer it that I know of. Please do alot of research on it before deciding on what you want to do. Keep us informed!

I don't know if Kim is still at the New Iberia program, but if she is you will really like her. She is very nice and helpful. I'm sure she would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
