Insurence Questions

Hi! I am brand new to the board and was wondering if anybody had any idea if Coventry Insurance would cover any weight loss surgeries. I am a member of United Health Care and I dont think I will have a problem with being covered. I have a BMI of 55.8 and I am close to 400 pounds. My girlfriend is heavy as well and her insurence is with Coventry. She is a little shy to call for the info so I wanted to try to find the information for her. Thanks!! Eric

Do you have a exclusion in your insurance booklet?And also if you go up to the top of the page and click on communitiesand then look on the right side at the bottom where it says other forums.Click on that and scroll down to insurance and click on it.You can then enter your state and you can maybe see if anyone else has had that ins. and been approved.By the way tell your girlfriend to please don't be embarassed.We are all in the same boat and are all here to help one another any way we can.And welcome to the boards there are a great bunch of people here and on the main board too.
