Extreme pain and anemia

I've been posting and reading about some of us suffering from pain beneath the center rib cage or to the right or left of center. I've had a slew of tests -- CAT scan, upper GI, X-rays and labs -- the only thing sticking out is my low blood count and extreme anemia. I even sent some board links to my surgeon cause it was popping up all over the boards and not just by the banding community. Thanks for all the advice and support. Frances,so sorry you are still feeling under the weather. I'm praying that you will soon feel your old self(just smaller)Do you just hurt there or everywhere?

Frances, do a little research on Ferritin. It seems that if you are low on that then what little iron you do have in your blood isn't getting where it needs to be in your body. I'm nearly seven years out and still learning from trial and error.
