HI from Texas

I thought posting on Louisiana Message board will help me feel closer to home. I orginally from Baton Rouge,Louisiana, but have been living in Texas for over seven years. I'm still homesick!! I miss family,friends and the friendliness of living in Louisiana. Well hope to get to know some of the members on this board. JY

Hi Joy, I'm from Louisiana and I lived a little while in East Texas. I was soooo homesick for my family and for Louisiana that I moved to Baton Rouge... go figure on that one. I've been in Baton Rouge for 10 years and I can certainly can say that it's been a great experience and it's been 10 full years. I just moved to Baker, but I still consider that Baton Rouge. Please let me know when you are in Baton Rouge again. My next pot of gumbo will be in your honor. Frances
