!!!!!!!!!!!! APPROVED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just got APPROVED & surgery is NEXT WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD
Which means - if everything goes according to plan I'll go home on
Christmas Day. Since my kids are 2 & 5 they won't know the
difference, so Santa will just have to come the night I get home.
DO YOU REALIZE HOW MUCH I HAVE TO GET DONE IN 1 WEEK?????????????????
Finish shopping, finish wrapping, ship gifts to 4 different
households, ORDER Christmas dinner, put up the tree, clean the house,
make up an excuse for missing the family Christmas get-together on
the 23rd (I think emergency hernia surgery sounds good), and for
having surgery in an out-of-town hospital, not to mention on Monday I
have to drive 2 hours to the hospital/clinic to have pre-op testing &
education, etc. and then 2 hours back (deep-breath).
I know - it'll all work out.

Laura,
Wow....
What a Christmas present. You will be able to start a new life for the new year!!! What hospital are you going to have your surgery? What Dr.? My Dr. was Dr. Mando with Renew3. My husband also had it done. We are 6 months out...I have lost 63 and he has lost 110.
Good luck to you! My prayers are with you and your family.

HooRay!!!!! I am so glad for you. This will certainly be a Christmas to remember, in more ways than one!! Are you not going to tell your family that you are having bypass surgery? I haven't told some of mine. I am just waiting to go to the "family reunion" at Easter and surprise them!!
Remember that you will not be able to put "Santa stuff" out when you get home from the hospital. You will just be able to sit and watch your kiddos for awhile. They are at such a cute age!!! I'm sure it will be wonderful.
Let us know how it's going and update us before you leave for the hospital!
Again, Merry Surgery!!
