Surgery at 61

Hi, I am 61 and Dr J. Barnes is my surgeon after hearing stories that concerned me about the first surgeon I picked. Dr Barnes and his wife seem to be VERY nice . My surgery is set for Dec 14 th. Being my age I am really concerned about the elasticity in my skin not being there . I intend to do the best I can at excercising and walking. Is there anyone out there that is my age that can give me some input as to how the surgery has helped or hindered.

Hi Rita, I just want to tell you good luck and you will LOVE the Dr's Barnes. Dr Stephanie Barnes is my Dr and I just love her!! They assist each other during surgery so you are actually getting them both. They are so awesome! Just make sure you drink your fluids and follow their after care program! This is VERY important and I can't stress that enough! There office staff is so helpful and they even have their own support group moderated my Dr Stephanie's Mother.
