Question

Did you feel really gasey after your surgery? I feel so bloted. Surgery was Thursday and I still have that feeling.

You will feel that way for at least a week to two, the had to put air in your body to do surgery, there is no escape for the air, so your body has to absorb (sp?) the air up. It will pass and is a normal feeling. I had my surgery on Oct 21st same feeling and it does go away. Hope this helps.

I had the same feeling. The only thing that helped me was walking. It will go away in time. Good luck to ya! Rhonda

You will have that for several days/weeks after the surgery, but even after that, you will just have gas easier than before! I am 8 weeks out and almost everything I eat gives me gas! At least we won't have GERD anymore though!
