What do they say to prevent the stomach from stretching out again. I know that the obvious answer is eat small portions and stop until you are full. It just seems that over time, little by little, this could happen....

Hi Jeff, My husband and I both had the surgery. My Husband..(Wesley) had open Rny on May 18th...He is almost 5 months out...he has lost 102 lbs! His start weight was 341. He doesnt have but about 30 more lbs to lose til he hits his personal goal. He lost very fast. He is never hungry but always thirsty. I had Lap Rny on June 9th 04. I have lost 53 lbs. I on the other hand do get hungry. We cant eat very much of anything...but we try everything. We had pizza last night. Thin and crispy crust of course We can eat maybe a slice...depending on how fast we eat. Slow is the key. Your taste buds change dramatically after surgery. Everyone is different. I wish you all the luck. God Bless, Cherish-Franklin, La
