Support Group

Hello to All, Wanting to know if their are any support groups in the area of Raceland or Houma LA.area.. Please let me know I would really like to get to know others that have had the Gastric bypass surgery also.My doctor is Dr. Mathew French he is from New Orleans and our support groups are held there... a little to far for me to go by myself at night. Hi, My name is Kathy. I live in New Iberia, LA. I do not know how far we are apart, but we have two supports groups within in a two mile radius in my area. They are at the two local hospitals. Dautrieve and Iberia Medical Center. Usually the meetings are held the last Wednesday and Thursday of each month. You are free to go to either or both. I myself go to both. I love talking to people with the the same addiction that I have. I find it to be very rewarding and satisfyiing. You are welcome to come any time. Hi, I am so sorry that it has taking me three whole years to reply.  I know I look like a fool, but I do not know how to use the computer that well,nor, can I see all that well.  Any way, we do still have our meetings at both places as I have previously mentioned.  The meeting for Iberia Medical Center is on Main St. in New Iberia on the third Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m.  The meeting for Dautreive Hospital which is on Lewis Street is on the last Wednesday of the month at 5:30 p.m.  I am so sorry it has taken me this long for a reply, I just happened to have noticed your reply.  Please forgive me.  If you are still interested e-mail me on [email protected].
