BANDED!!!!!!

Hi everyone, Thank your for all your support in this process and all your kind words. You are all wonderful!!! I had surgery on Thursday and was discharged Thursday night. I feel great and I have been doing really well. The only pain that I am experiencing is gas pain. I am still on the liquid stage, which is fine because I have no desire to eat. I have been walking around the block which really helps with the increased gas. I found out Thursday night that my blood work came back with an increased TSH level. (hypothyroidism) When I had follow up blood work in June my levels were normal, they were on there way back up when I had my pre-op lood work. My medicine has been increased and I hope it make the weight come off a little quicker. I am just greatful that surgery was not cancelled because of this. I hope that everyone has as easy a time that I have had!!! Robin

Wow you are home fast!! Your probably a quick healer too. Ive never heard of the band procedure...is that alot less complicated? I will have Lap in Oct. Take care of yourself and good luck... Kay
